Race This Week—or Wait?

The story we’re following

A closer look at the decision.

The entry is only the beginning of the conversation. We plan to follow a genuine readiness decision, the factors the team weighs and the consequences of racing or waiting. The story follows the call, whatever the outcome.

What we’ll investigate

• What the team knows about the horse’s readiness.
• How conditions, workload and timing affect the choice.
• What would change the decision—and what the follow-up reveals.
