Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by a website on your device. Similar technologies can include browser storage and tracking pixels. This page explains the current custom website at thesaddle.uk, reviewed on 14 October 2026.
Current website
The custom website code does not include its own advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Optional Wix analytics scripts are controlled by your choice. It does not store newsletter consent in browser storage; the signup record is stored on the server. The opening film and images are served as website assets. The hosting platform may use essential security or delivery technologies to provide the service you request.
Essential hosting technologies
Where Wix or the signup hosting infrastructure uses storage strictly necessary for security, request delivery or a service you request, it does not require optional-cookie consent. The signup host may set Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie, observed with a 30-minute expiry, to detect automated traffic. These technologies must not be repurposed for advertising. The public website offers separate controls for optional Wix site enhancements.
Optional tracking
Optional Wix analytics and site enhancements are blocked until you select Accept optional. If accepted, the Wix loader can store an anonymous access token in browser storage under wixSiteScript:642b9bd6-68e0-47c2-b695-59c915701e4f and load Wix page-view, navigation and site-analytics scripts. These can process visited pages, navigation events, browser/device information and identifiers for website usage measurement. We rely on consent for optional analytics. The token has an expiry set by Wix. Select Decline optional to keep that loader blocked. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw your choice; withdrawing removes the stored Wix token and reloads the page to stop those scripts. We store your preference under saddle-cookie-choice-v1 until you change it or clear browser storage. This preference storage remembers the choice you requested. If analytics, advertising or third-party embeds are added, this notice must be updated and any required choice mechanism must operate before the technology runs. An “accept” banner alone cannot make tracking compliant.
Your controls
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or decline optional Wix enhancements at any time. You can also use your browser settings to inspect, block or remove cookies.
